YouTube is secretly using AI to edit people's videos • Skin is being smoothed or sharpened • Features like ears are being altered • YouTube confirmed there's an 'experiment' on Shorts to 'unblur' and 'improve' clarity • There's currently no way to opt out (via BBC)
So we should also call and write our grievances to YouTube but also complain to YouTubes biggest advertisers to let them know your considering boycotting their products/services until YouTube changes its censorship and AI age verification schemes.
