Sapphic art, tarot, comics and crafts.

society being unable to withstand a pair of unexposed breasts all of a sudden, when it was pretty commonplace and natural to feature in classical art, just because "oh i cannot scroll on company time safely!!" has contributed greatly to censorship and puritanical bullshit. just saying.

so when someone says they're only training on their own data, that is a crock of shit they're either selling to you, or was sold to them. Someone somewhere got scammed for investment money lol remember this meme? this is what AI makes with under 1 million points of data to train on.

an early AI generated image, which clearly is taken from product photos on ebay or something, but is too rough and poorly trained to actually portray any identifiable item, it's a big incomprehensible mishmash with the "vibe" of something you can't put your finger on

I firmly believe that if kids were using their phones just as much *but* constantly having a good time, the ‘phone addiction’ narrative would be widely mocked as boomer paranoia. The fact young people are actually concerned about their screen time really says something about enshitification I think

We are going Super Social Justice Blue Hair and Pronouns. We are calling things "gay" and "queer" as compliments and honorifics. We are proudly being buzzkills and harpies and feminine and vegan and giving a sincere fucking shit about the environment and climate and well-being of the community.

"my least woke opinion is---" That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania. Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

all the fake AI trash really contradicts one of the main ways we're told capitalism operates, with capitalists identifying wants/needs & developing products & services to meet those. turns out you can skip that step & just pretend. nigh everyone hates AI and it makes no money but it's everywhere

before you spam your copy paste into some random person's comments, remember writing the alt text is an accessibility issue in it of itself. are yall actually advocating for accessibility or is it rly about using it as a point of moral high ground to lob abuse at someone

Amazon next day delivery is held up as a standard to judge small business by when bezos has never, in his life, used his own human body to walk 30+ minutes to the local post office with 2 tote bags of packages… get on OUR level, Jeff.

Singer/songwriter is an art that requires less of an expense than illustrator in that you don't even need crayon and paper. The subtext is what it's always been- These people don't want to be artists. They want to be famous.

All AI music does is devalue the work done by human artists. It’s not accessibility, it’s exploitation. We need real protections for artists against AI! BTW — even if you had access to this AI startup as a child, you still wouldn’t know how to make music.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no good faith way to discuss AI. The entire concept of AI is bad faith personified, and people are beyond fucking sick of having harmful, dangerous tech shoved into every single device and website. If you think that's "bad faith," that's on you, not us.

Can’t believe I had to find out there was a new defunctland video via people talking on bluesky and then manually search for it on youtube like some kind of internet cave woman. Staggering ball drop from the yt algorithm.

Going for a walk and everyone else out has a dog and I keep awkwardly encountering into the same couple of dog walkers… Do I tell them my dog is just invisible and her name is ‘mental health’
