A BREATH OF STRANGE (2016) Acrylic on Canvas Board - 8” x 10” While I’m standing nose-to-artwork painting little details, I try to avoid having a big clumsy palette in my way. I’ll grab one of the little canvas or masonite panels I use for comps and mix paints on that. 1/4

one of the most frustrating things in artmaking is having an idea/concept you *know* is excellent but you aslo know you don't have the skills required to properly do it justice

I previously designed a Banshee, but I had problems with it (problems including the pic being in 72 dpi RGB because holy heck I am NOT smart). The new one is 100% printing-prepared. I will also refresh the old design, but I wanted to draw a new one, to free myself from the constrains of old concept

Here's another Banshee elf I painted. Seems like we are having a month of banshee. Banshees are Mantis Elf for my D&D 5e project and act as a playable species It may be just me but sometimes I just want to play 3 meter tall undead bug centaur with wings so huge they act as a dress #sketch #art #d&d
