OSSOFF: So we entered this war on false pretenses. Sound familiar? Not the first time the United States has been dragged into a quagmire in the Middle East on false pretenses about weapons of mass destruction.

If Andy Beshear does not push this to a conclusion that either has him appointing McConnell's replacement, or McConnell reappearing, Beshear will be out of Democratic politics. We need rabble-rousers, not the same quiet, proper Dems who keep losing.

2nd Annual No Kings Then, No Kings Now Bridge Visibility · True North Action Alliance Boston

* **Paul Revere and the colonists fought against a King.** * **Tyrants still aren't welcome here.** * **Join this Patriots’ Day pro-democracy standout!** * **Bring a sign! Bring a friend!** **Date:** Patriots Day, April 20, 2026 **Time:** 9-11 AM **Place:** Russell Bridge (formerly North Washington Street Bridge), between the North End and Charlestown Help cheer on Paul Revere as he takes his ride from the North End to Charlestown in the annual re-enactment of his famous ride in 1775. Participants will stand on the Charlestown side of the bridge. If enough people attend, we can spread out to the North End side of the bridge also. With our own pro-democracy and _**“No Kings Then, No Kings Now”**_ signs, we will be greeting Paul Revere as he rides his horse, Brown Beauty, from the North End to City Square in Charlestown as part of the annual re-creation of Revere’s original ride in 1775. COMMENTS FOR ATTENDEES Participants need to be sure to allow free passage of cyclists and pedestrians. There is a dedicated bike lane, so please be aware of this and be careful while waving to cars and sign holding. Last year, about 80 people attended. We want to make an even larger showing this year. There will be a small, quiet ceremony involving school children reading Longfellow's The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere poem at City Square, once he arrives there. This is sponsored by the Friends of City Square. If any participants decide to attend the ceremony, we ask that you do so respectfully, because of the presence of the children and the earnestness with which they participate in the ceremony. **Sponsored By True North Action Alliance Boston and Boston Indivisible** *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
