While I am a bit worried about theft, I wanted to post this. 6 panels out of 12 embroidered. By hand, not embroidery machine. At this point I'm maybe a quarter of the way through this project. The copper, turquoise, and cobalt blue cotton floss blend into a shimmering blue-purple tone.

Six three-inch-square panels of text and ornament, embroidered in 3-color thread on white linen.

Def deleting this but it's not one I felt like shoving in a drawer. just outting some thoughts. Tbh I feel like these are thoughts everyone is having right now. I have it pretty lucky and complain a lot

1/ Part of a 42-word poem I started a loooonnng time ago, and finished in 2021. Backstitched text and ornaments in 3 strands of cotton floss: burnt orange, turquoise, and cobalt blue. Gives a nice variegated shimmer. After washing/blocking, the linen will be backed with interfacing.

Three inch wide square of scrolled ornament frame around the words 'By hand and gift of seeing'. All embroidery in 3 color thread of cobalt1 blue, turquoise, and burnt orange/copper.

Visible: lots of green and blue washable ink, plus translucent washable film.
