I am going to admit my joy at seeing them finally get their just desserts is tempered by the hideous, malicious effect I witnessed them having on my friends. I don't like letting them go quietly into the night. But we all should. Because living without them is our reward. IYKYK

"placeholder text" "concept art" either the temporary thing you put in matters to the process, in which case you need to get a human to work on it, or it doesn't, in which case you can just as easily put a bright pink rectangle that says PLACEHOLDER in and save everyone time and effort

Still not a peep on the things Mamdani can do for trans youth after hospital closures. No activation of H+H to take patients. Trans patients are a rounding error for the $10B program. No movement on human rights complaints. No promise to restore care. Rarely have I been so disappointed.

It was never about "trans athletes should just compete in their assigned sex at birth." It was always about invalidation of the athlete's gender identity.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

Hey, instead of yelling at people about not using Alt text, if it's really important with you, post the alt text in comments. Accessibility is important, yes, but let's not forget that people have different levels of energy to provide them. It is not always malicious intent.

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.

Advertising "I am a dickhead and cannot be forced to care"? Bc it sure seems like it." this user has been leaving this quote on several random posts from what it seems. spikermonster replies: "i’m really not used to using bluesky yet, sorry. i don’t spend much time on here and i’m usually in a hurry, plus describing my own work just feels very strange to me so i get stuck trying to think of how to do it."

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.
