“We’re standing on the rubble of the world that was, and we must have the foresight and courage to imagine and create the world as it should be: more compassionate, more equal, more sustainable. A world that is safe from fascists and tyrants.” —Maria Ressa

📌Democratic turnout in the Michigan senatorial primary was OFF THE HOOK. More than 1.5 million votes have been counted. The competitive GOP primary for governor has had but 930,000 votes counted. The Democrats are continuing to prove to be the more motivated party at the polls across America.

El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"

El-Sayed: "If all Mike Rogers got is that 'his name is Abdul, and my name is Mike,' you're gonna be surprised how many people are like, 'Yeah, but that's the Abdul who wants to bring down the price of my groceries and make sure I got healthcare. So yeah, I like Abdul over your Mike from Florida.'"

Thanks to Trump's sick need for glory, our long-range precision missiles are gone, gas prices are way over $4.00, the Strategic Oil Reserve is empty, the SofH is closed, Iran still has all its uranium, the military is asking for $500 billion more, & Trump's blaming it all on Biden while he golfs.

Is it me or did the Capital One affair not really break through On Here Another day, another scandal that would have tanked basically any other presidency

Republican power grabs in Kansas and Missouri are going down in flames with 18-25% of votes reported so far. Missouri's Amendment 4 aimed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments practically impossible. Kansas' Amendment 1 was designed to flip the state Supreme Court to ban abortion

Not sure if everyone appreciates the difference. Rooftop solar hardwires into your main panel via a dedicated breaker, so it requires a permit, an installer, an electrician, and a utility agreement. Balcony solar just plugs into a wall outlet, sharing an existing circuit with no permits or rewiring.

While American families are getting flattened by skyrocketing costs, Donald Trump is spending $1.4 billion to keep troops on the streets in Washington for years on end. The National Guard are not pawns, and taxpayer dollars are not a piggy bank for Trump’s political stunts.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com · yesterday

The Pentagon’s deployment of National Guard troops to D.C. is set to cost an additional $1.4 billion through the end of the Trump administration, according to information reviewed by The Post. The estimate encompasses October 2026 through January 2029.

NEW: Todd Blanche doesn't believe in the rule of law, and John Cornyn and Thom Tillis don't care. Blanche's Sunday night moves should not save his nomination. The reaction from the pair of soon-departing Republican senators is not oversight and not principled. Tonight, at Law Dork:

Todd Blanche's last-minute promise won over Senators Cornyn & Tillis, but shouldn't have. The "deal" leaves Trump's tax immunity intact. It confirms what the Senators should have already known about Blanche's lack of fitness to be AG. My analysis: open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...
