My main takeaway from Comic-Con is write what you want to write. There’s no point writing anything else.
The success of Emily Wilson's translation had nothing to do with Christopher Nolan. The hardcover edition came out 9 years ago and was a huge success. The paperback has been in steady demand since 2018. My store has sold 75 copies (a lot for 1 book for us) and 66 of those were before January.

Since A Second Sight came out I've received about 2-3 of these scam emails a week. They are not only profoundly annoying but obviously prey on author's passions and attachment to their work. In some cases they impersonate real people at legit organizations.

Other Places update! We are putting books on shelves! I have rented a scissor lift for next week, which is when flags and posters go up. The week after that is when the audio equipment gets installed. Tentative grand opening day is Aug 4, a day before music happens. A mere 3 weeks late.
