Um. There is no stable government. This coalition is over in everything but name. If someone is only keeping their job so you hold onto power that's not stable government. Snap election now.

15,000,000 litres is SIX OLYMPIC SIZED SWIMMING POOLS - PER DAY! That's not "leakage", that's someone with an unconsented bottling plant or data centre... I would sincerely suggest HB's councils track the source of the worst "leakages" with utmost haste before the region "leaks" dry!

Point taken Andrew, but my study of the Hansard from 2024 onwards is a clear record of how Winston Peters, far more than any other MP, is responsible for the decline in the standards of the House, which ironically he so often decries. The Speaker appears to be complicit in enabling this. #nzpol

Thanks Stu, It feels like this is the worst government I have ever experienced & my first vote was in 1978 so that includes Muldoon. Everything is justified under "urgency" except doing the right things. I was just cut & pasting Newsroom content. There was a bit more in there about lead times.

I mean, if you've actually heard that interview from RFK, it's as unhinged as Peters is these days. So YEP there really isn't much of a difference, in tone and approach to pretty basic questions (and Dana Bash is hardly a challenging interviewer).
Look. What I say to you is this. Labour had a plan to fix and fund all of this. I binned all that as being a massive racist about that plan helped me get into govt. Now I'm the disrupter CEO adult in the room, I'm leaving local people to find innovative solutions with no govt money or support.

Are you joking? Winne started a homophobic disinformation campaign against a non binary MP knowing full well what that would translate to online. Threats, harassment and other online violence. So serious, that MP left. Unbelievable #nzpol
