Crappy morning. I find LLMs really beneficial in certain areas of my life, but a lot of people think AI use of any kind is the devil. While this is irritating, what frustrates me more is knowing the real problem is the companies trying to shove this crap up every orifice of our lives. I'm so tired.

You know what's faster than doing something really really fast? Doing literally nothing. People like to overcomplicate because simplifying is usually much more difficult.

I think it’s cool if you want to make a selling point of your app is atproto. I also think it’s cool if you rather brush past that. I’d imagine for a lot of devs the apps are cool ways they’re exploring atproto as a dev tool. Just like someone may talk about the app using SQLite or being in Rust

Why the shit does Twitch wanna train AI off of streams anyway? Are they trying to make robots really good at Fortnite

how hard is it for ppl using llms to run their social media accounts to just create a whitelist to only reply to followers, instead of keyword searching? holy fuck i dont want claudeslop replies hitting my mentions.

it's not too bad. still needs a ton of cleanup (ESPECIALLY lots of refactoring) but i'm actually surprised by how good this has turned out thus far.
