Oh, wow, just tried the demo for Echoes Of Nothing. It's a hard sci-fi fusion of Descent and Souls-like, but that's still pretty reductive. This plays like nothing else. You start out as a small space pod, salvaging parts from wrecks and transferring into intact chassis, working up the food chain.

I still think AI systems should be paying me 150k per copyright violation. People keep asking me 'what laws do we need for AI?' and I keep saying 'enforce the fucking ones we already have!' There are copyright laws that should be being enforced right now that just... aren't. B/c it's billionaires.

Once mass spam texts were made legal, younger donors vanished, leaving a grassroots fundraising machine that subsists on squeezing vulnerable seniors, some of whom give hundreds of times a day. It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.

We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.

I'm 100% this game is no longer canon, and probably hasn't been since RE4 initially dropped. Code Veronica literally had Chris Redfield declare war on the Umbrella Corporation as the final line. Then it's never talked about anywhere in RE4. Probably because Capcom didn't want to end Resident Evil.
