Reform’s electoral record at parliamentary by-elections: win by five votes when the previous Labour MP had literally decked one of his constituents. Lose. Lose. Lose. Lose. Lose. Beat a novelty candidate with no ground game while doing worse than the Tories in the same seat in 2019.

The frightening logic of Blue Labour: Glasman, Rutherford, McSweeney, Mahmood,Cowley, Collier all praise the 'Danish' model and end up in bed with Meloni. European values from the French revolution onwards are liberty, equality and solidarity. 'Faith, flag and family' is a Mussolini slogan.

There has been a converted attempt here (including by the current Home Sec) to promote the "Danish model" of anti-immigrant policy as being somehow consistent with social democratic/progressive values. So we should welcome this mask-off moment from the Danish PM.

Hahahaha. Farage now whining that he was badly advised by his overpaid team into calling his stupid by-election. Confirming then that he’s incapable of working it out for himself. Too busy counting his money. Honest to god, Clacton. Don’t be the constituency dunces he needs you to be. (Times)

One senior source said they believed Farage had been poorly advised over calling the by-election in Clacton.
They said that "young advisers" around Farage had not checked whether the standards' commissioner's investigation would continue in the event of the by-election and they had incorrectly assumed it would not. They also criticised "massive salaries" paid to staff who they said were "letting Nigel down".

Missing jigsaw piece: the (former) Nazi now runs a popular satirical website where Badenoch is treated as some sort of cross between Boudicca & Margaret Thatcher while Labour & even Reform are constantly mocked. So this whole sorry mess is just another symptom of her being terminally online.

Another glorious vindication of Kemi Badenoch’s impeccable political judgment. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It’s now official: June–July 2026 was the most anomalously warm two-month period ever recorded in France by a staggering margin. France is now virtually certain to record its warmest summer on record.

The BBC treats climate change as a political subject, which it is not. This gives them the excuse of "both sidesing" an overwhelming scientific consensus and outright lying. It is a propaganda machine downplaying a deadly emergency and questions need to be asked at the highest level as to why.

I was not informed by the BBC that they would have a right wing political figure or lobbyist on after me to rebut what I said. The individual in question went on to spout lies about China, etc. to distract attention from the Trump administration's assault on climate action. This is unacceptable.

If future historians exist (& that’s a pretty precarious IF) they’ll write endlessly about the psychological conditioning that left BILLIONS of people feeling ‘powerless’ when a handful of elite psychopaths decided to trade a liveable planet for a bit more meaningless wealth.
