1. I want the US to stop enabling apartheid and genocide in Israel-Palestine 2. I am willing to vote for Democrats who enable this system *in the general*, because they are better than Republicans 3. I am not willing to vote for them in primaries I don’t think this is unreasonable.
Scholten is now the only one I'm remotely worried about being an obstacle. And even with her I'm not that worried. I give it 3 days max. She'll endorse him.

I love that the French equivalent of winning by "a hair" or "a nose" seems to be winning by "une courte tête", lit. "a short head." Have seen 2 French sources use this expression to describe Abdul's win

My default assumption now is that Scholten, Slotkin, Peters, Whitmer, Schumer, Gillibrand et al. are all enthusiastically endorsing Abdul as the Democratic nominee. My hope and expectation is that they will all explicitly say so in no uncertain terms by end of week.

I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.
