L’inquiétude des Québécois est si profonde qu’il serait périlleux de la passer sous silence. Comme l’a souligné récemment la Commission, les tensions générées par les affaires du kirpan, du voile et de l’ETS rendent urgente une « discussion publique large et responsable ». La liberté de religion se confine-t-elle à la vie privée ou entraîne-t-elle nécessairement un droit d’exprimer sa foi en public ? La majorité devrait-elle s’adapter à toutes les religions, si marginales soient-elles ? Reminder that Carney has cut funding for Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Indigenous and Northern Affairs, and Indigenous Services. And he has rolled back climate protections, abandoned emissions targets, and is building more pipelines.
