Here's another version: Because of the glory of the home mortgage disclosure act, we can see the income of homebuyers with mortgages. Within the same county/neighborhood/neighborhood and adjusting for unit characteristics, condo buyers are poorer than single family home buyers. it's a starter home!

the thing with luxury condos is that they're mostly a myth. 1. within the same county, condos sell for 35% less than single family homes 2. within the same neighborhood, they sell for 43% less 3. within the same neighborhood and adjusting for some quality characteristics, they sell for 21% less

This attempt to construct a narrative of persecution around being a white guy in America is at base, an expression of profound jealousy and insecurity towards people who have to overcome challenges they will never face

Shit like this is why no one believes Jeffries et al when they talk about Affordability. Dems will crow about Affordability, at the expense of fighting fascism and ICE terror, and then just not do anything about the cost of living issues they do control.

Oh, the film doesn't pay enough attention to the Odysseus' victims? Well, it pays infinitely more attention to them than the original poem does, as the poem has literately nothing to say on the subject, a thing I learned by reading Emily Wilson's translation of the Odyssey

When you realize America is basically Brazil with Northwestern Europe, the Rhine River Valley, Greater Tokyo, and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area attached it becomes clear why you can’t really compare us to any other country.

George Lucas can make any movie he wants, but, aside from Kenneth Colley’s unforgettable performance as Admiral Piett, slapdash writing and weak characterization were the only features of note in “The Empire Strikes Back.”
