Genuinely one of the biggest things about all this that pisses me off. Both consumers AND companys are doing this shit, and even when in cases the term ***is*** correct in technicality, its still fucking annoying. Its like calling cereal a soup. Yes it is but its still not fucking right

I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Instead he got 63% against Count Binface who pulled in nearly 27%. Petulantly Farage didn’t turn up for the count to give a speech. The investigation into his finances begins again.
For those who are up on the GenAI issues on Twitch-- they are not planning to have any feature present to let us know what channels have opted out of GenAI Data Collection. I am using the tag "OptOutGenAI", and if you are a creator who also is opting out please consider using the tag too!
With Twitch's AI update ( That you should opt out of immediately by scrolling to the bottom at - www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... ) it means if a streamer you follow hasn't turned it off it'll be scraping chat for all messages, even if YOU have opted out, it defaults to the channel owners settings.
If you have a twitch account I would turn this off even if you don't plan on streaming. Hopefully that also sends a message that we don't want it.
