Stranger of Paradise is a great game. Yes the plot and characters are batshit insane, yes the gameplay isn't that good, yes for some reason they turned FF1 into a nu-metal music video for some reason. And yet, it works.
Awesome roguelike aside. You should go follow Brian if you are at all interested in lesser known indie gems. He tirelessly recommends them all the time.
