I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

this morning, ICE went into a Spanish language immersion daycare and took a teacher from the building in front of screaming and crying kids and parents at dropoff and the daycare had to shut down for the day (near Lane Tech, where they were yesterday). Really hoping today's "theme" is not "daycare."

Rep. Dan Crenshaw tweets GOOD NEWS: after the rogue parliamentarian struck my amendment to ban taxpayer funding for transgender treatments, Republican Senators put it BACK in the bill anyway. This means they are daring the Democrats to vote against it in a "point of order." It's a good bet to take. For one thing, nothing to lose so why not try? But second, I believe the Democrats won't want to pick this battle. This is a very very popular provision. I think the Democrats know they've lost the battle. The science isn't on their side and neither is the public.

This means that Democrats will have to raise a point of order on this part of the bill. This would force a vote on the amendment that would require 60 votes. Republicans have 53 Senate seats, so it means they would need to pick off 7 Democrats for this. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...
