Usually posting about being emotionally devastated by fictional old men.

My dæmon dog, my beautiful boy hound Marvin. We found a lump on his leg on Friday, today his results have come back and it's the bad thing. I'm terrified and devastated. He's only nine. Looks like surgery on Thursday morning, hopefully we caught it early enough.

Marvin the basset hound on the armchair he was never supposed to be allowed on and which now basically belongs to him. He's lying on his back waving his paws in the air begging for tummy tickles.

Don't know where this idea that GO3 haters are all aggressive and potentially violent has come from but it's so very insulting and upsetting. We're just fans like anyone else. We are devastated by the ending but we still love Good Omens. If we didn't we'd have peeled away on May 13.

If the Good Omens fandom stopped making up theoretical evil fans on the "other side" (liked/disliked go3) and then making entire threats about how horrible that non-existent person is, we wouldn't have a fandom so divided. Guys(gn), we're doing the same that politics is doing. It serves no one.

Reminder that respectfully asking clarifying questions about the end of the finale in a pre-selected Q+A session with a man who has chosen to be there is not being a hater or ruining anything.

Another brilliant, sensitive, and thoughtful member of the fandom has been made to feel like they can't stay on here. The same people who defend corporate accounts so vehemently are quick to turn around and spew vitriol at fellow fans who have tried to bridge the divide. Tweed, you'll be so missed.

I know it’s tacky to announce one’s departure, but think I’m done with Bluesky. I can’t do this anymore. I’m tired of trying to be patient and empathetic while I’m grieving only to have my words twisted and bad-faith assumptions made against me.
