Speaking of physical media in gaming, I've been making my way through the mainline Assassin's Creed games. It JUST SO HAPPENS that they released a remaster of Black Flag when I got to it, so it wasn't discounted during the recent Steam sale. So I got it AND Rogue for Switch!

AI is not an evil boogeyman which corrupts from within. It's not using special, uniquely environmentally devastating hardware. It's not even artificial intelligence! It's an averaging algorithm! It just spits out the most likely response to stimuli based on its trained dataset.

I genuinely think the reason people are so mad at TADC is they sympathised with a trans woman under the mistaken belief she was a Tumblr sexyman, they were artfully manoeuvred into doing so by another trans woman, and they can't make the "it doesn't count" stick and they can't take it back
