I am what I am & I am who He’s called me to be.

Black people have worked all our lives to be understood, valued, and respected. NO WAY you want me to spend even more time getting another non-Black person to apprehend why that’s even important, much less teach them how to go about it.

I am not interested in an interracial relationship, not because I don't find nonBlack people attractive (they are) but because I don't want to have to be subjected to (un)intentional racism, antiBlackness and microagressions in a relationship that should be my safe space.

Friendships are a commitment too. A lot of people treat friendships like void fillers and even second fiddle for romantic relationships and wonder why they’re lacking in community. You don’t wanna sacrifice for folks. you don’t wanna do anything outside of for you…how is that community minded?

May I point out that both El-Sayed and Stevens are Millennials. Generational shift. It's here. It's time. November up here won't just be about progressivism vs. fascism. It will also be about the future vs. the past.

idk. i like that when you're blocked or when somebody else is blocked on here you literally have no idea who the blocked individual is. lol

Safety is paramount in every setting for me. If I don’t feel physically/mentally/emotionally/spiritually/environmentally safe, I have to find that safety for self expeditiously and by any means necessary.

Though I present as “strict” or rigid to majority of the outside world, I’ve done some crazy things that people wouldn’t believe. The key really comes down to (1) me feeling safe and (2) the stars perfectly aligning in that moment for me to commit. Some of my best stories come from those times.

All some people have is social media. The only time they get to “debate” or converse with other people, is on social media. For some, social media is the only place they hold power. And it’s because I have THIS knowledge that I always think twice before engaging people in arguments on any platform
