DJ. You’ll groove, scrub the ground, or jack your body to what I spin. I share my mixes, music I like, & talk about music-related stuff on this page! Listen to recordings here: https://soundcloud.com/okrahound I stream here: https://twitch.tv/okrahound

OMG. Ahsoka very hesitantly let me pat her, and then! she headbutted me! And purred! And loooooved her pats! And asked me for MORE PATS. I am so thrilled. This girl hasn't let anyone touch her before and she's probably nearly 2.

A black cat standing on top of her enclosed litter box. She is twisted and leaning into my hand, so that I can scratch the back of her head. Her tail is up and she is happy.

This last weekend’s gig was definitely a confidence-booster. I didn’t think that the breakbeats & electro I was spinning would have that much of a positive reception. 😭😭😭 I’m bringing more house music next time, though.

going forward i want all my sanctuary events to be drug & alcohol free. i want people who havent reached 21 just yet to still be able to participate in the music scene. i also am personally disgusted by how much alcohol runs the live music industry and i want to challenge that.

hiiii @smokoyote.bsky.social is gonna come to the twin cities and shred with me as ballooney tunes on August 1st at Blackhart in St Paul Furry coded lineup with @ottoproject.bsky.social and my dear friend Puta Gata 🐱 It will be a really really fun night U^ェ^U

My references are the music I love the most, like breakbeat, hip-hop from the 90s-00s especially, drum n’ bass, soul and funk, jazz and fusion. To learn new genres and sounds, something I would do is plop a whole song in my DAW and “trace” it by making my best approximation of every sound in it

@2mello.net I really have no idea how else to broach this so I wanted to ask you on here, if you'd indulge me, what are your references? How did you learn? I feel so odd asking, but after hearing your little ad lib on the end of "Goin in" I felt like you might be the right person to ask-

My family mentioned that you could technically hustle or swing to some of house tracks that I play. Space pending, it would be cool to see more of that. Especially since disco is one of the influences of (if not was at the beginning) house.
