@edzitron.com Can you please get mad at CBCs Frontburner for an angry canadian who lacks the words. Recent AI coverage never mentions that there is no intelligence to LLMs, or the hallucination problem. They go on to entertain Divine AI, humanize it and compare it to Skynet then suggest AGI is near

One party with 40% of the vote shouldn't control 100% of the power. From healthcare and housing to climate, education, and everything in between, decisions are being made without majority support. Canada needs a voting system where every voice counts. We need proportional representation.

A white graphic with pink quotation marks and a pink border. The text reads: "If you don't think politicians elected with significantly less than a majority of the vote should be able to exert majority control over the economy, education, healthcare, the environment, and foreign policy... Or infrastructure, housing, defence, policing, transit, taxes, and immigration... Or reproductive rights, internet regulation, food safety, disaster response, national parks, the postal service, and literally everything else, demand proportional representation."

We’re led by warmongers & cowards. They have no intention of stopping our civilisation slamming into a wall because they were put in place by the forces profiting from it. None of our children get to survive unless we take the money out of politics & end this relentless ascent of psychopaths.

Our corporate-owned food system is decimating ecosystems & driving insects to extinction. But without insects we have no food system. We urgently take food out of the hands of multinationals, we change what we eat & how we produce it. Or we watch a planet starve.

The Great Insect Apocalypse: Why Are Bugs Vanishing?

A new paper highlights over 500 interconnected factors contributing to the global decline of insect populations. Insects are vanishing at a concerning pace across the globe, and scientists are strivin...
