Two hundred pounds of piss and vinegar.

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

Obviously, nothing is stopping people who don't have a left-leaning ideology from using Bluesky right now. The reason they don't stick around is because this platform makes it much easier to ignore them and, anecdotally, they don't seem to like that.

I look forward to all the reports & coverage about all of the internal problems & mistakes of all of these other institutions, in the same way that universities are constantly blamed (& blaming themselves) for “declining trust.” “Compared to what?” news.gallup.com/poll/712436/...

Some Black Americans are bigoted because America is a deeply bigoted country and we live here. Black American culture specifically is radically and unusually not bigoted relative to the baseline of both America and the human species. This is much less true of white American culture especially.

👴🏻I just like white guys that tell it like it is! Guys that speak their mind! That aren't all polished and politically correct! Manly guys that work out! Good Christian men! Bring masculinity back! 👩🏽Like Alan Ritchson? 👴🏻No! Not like that!
