I heard a voice like yours at the grocery store

Another old photo I've dug up: dye tests on silk. The thread dyed with pomegranate flower is shown next to a swatch of ink made with the same, illustrating the fact dyeing with a colourant and applying it to the surface usually result in very different hues. #naturaldyes

A bobbin of bright yolk-yellow thread, labelled "saffron", and one of muted yellow like wet straw marked "pomegranate flower", next to which a swtach of bright red-orange is painted.

Half the point of a government is that you and me do not have the wherewithal to pay attention to this shit on a constant basis and so the government needs to regulate the fucking egg people and the fucking beef people and the fucking whatever people so that food is as safe as it can be.

Had a nightmare I went on vacation with my parents and at the hotel we learned our package put us in a huge dormitory-style room with 20 strangers. All the beds were near the ceiling atop the many kitchenette and bathroom stacks. There were ping-pong tables. Woke up shaken and crying for home

Being awake at 4am because you’re shivering and sweltering at the same time is so fun! I love perimenopause! I’m going to be such a joy to be around today!

I meant to take a pic of this beautiful burger after I had taken one strategic bite but I forgot. It was really good. I think I feel a little high?

Photo of the last bite of a burger on a blue and white plate. The plate is sopped in juices, the bun is squished and sliding off, there’s a random discarded coil of onion, and the meat is thick and mostly pink even though I swear Mom, I cooked it to 145°
