it feels reassuring to sit back and look at things people told me I was being dramatic about and realize I was not, in fact, being dramatic at all. the nazis did take over twitter. the fascists did take away abortion rights and are coming for our democracy. AI is already subverting human rules.
The purpose of a university is not to represent all viewpoints equally, nor is it to give students all sides of debates. Debate is actually nothing to do with university. It might happen in a seminar but that's not what it's for.
