i know it's like the one fact that everyone knows about her, but still: Dolly Parton sat down and wrote "I Will Always Love You" and "Jolene" in the same evening. That's a bigger contribution to american culture in a single sitting than almost anyone in their entire lives.
RIP Dolly Parton. What she used her wealth and platform to do for children should be a model to anyone with the means to do so.
Oh man. RIP to one of the best to ever do it.

Apple Music is weird about censoring lyrics sometimes even if the song you’re listening to is explicit. Lines 2 and 4 should read “f-f-fuck her face”
The methodology is already flawed as noted that they can’t check who was watching on Apple hardware, but also this doesn’t seem to incorporate F1TV viewers, which probably has increased since last year given that you can link for free from AppleTV.

It’s really weird how many people in America just presume that every government contract results in corruption.
There’s a wacko father-son pairing that makes incredibly bizarre and bad content that I guess shifted from being fanatically pro-Israel to very anti-Israel (and antisemitic) the past few years and it’s jarring. The dad is also a known liar who made up lots of biographical info.

I thought when I got my sodastream forever ago I’d use it to make sodas, but instead I just make super carbonated seltzer and it rules.
I’ve been curious to see just how many places don’t have Splenda still. It’s way more than you’d expect.
