my favourite part is where Bisk casually drops the lore of the Grand Mal, the incident which the whole BWU universe is predicated on (Autobots and Decepticons uniting against a common enemy). Of all the places to put that information! Fantastic stuff
gotta say that part towards the end of Not All Megatrons, an otherwise fairly level-headed multi-POV story, where it switches into Bisk's gamer POV and stays there for like three sections straight basically to the end of the story, is pure literature

Oh sure, said the same. But *a* G1. Something LIKE it - vague like BW, vaguer even, more for scene-setting and marketing than precise in-world story. But this specifically positions it as a branching timeline. Per the ES story it literally can't be, it's full of stuff that doesn't exist in G1!

The only 'bot I came away from TFN with was an AOTP Powerglide; otherwise it's all zines and stickers, many of them gifts! Look at all this! I felt pretty fulfilled this year for having managed to assemble my BW panel, but this doubles my old resolve to make something tangible for next year.
