It's not a theoretical discussion, there is a legal, constitutional definition, which is reflected in policy, which means Palestinians are not and can never be equal citizens. Why isn't anyone pointing this out?

I think the fact that such an organisation naively rallied round him actually does lend weight to, because it is genuine evidence for, the right wing interpretation.

I’m more worried about UK academia than ever. On the one hand, the Arday affair is indicative of certain fields with egregious problems and little potential for self-reform. On the other, conservative plans for reform tend to be destructive and shallow. Our future may be grim.
