I got the job!!! I can reveal more on November 9th ✨🙏😁 So excited to work with this team!! Ah hhn✨😁 !

I'm so excited! The studio I finished my 2nd interview at saw I had such a wide range of skills with Unreal Engine that they want to ask me to come on as an Unreal Engine Generalist instead of the more specific role they originally posted/looked for. I think this is the one folks, more on Monday! 😊

I've been pretty inactive on here, but I wanted to just put out some positive energy by letting everyone know I'm currently being considered for 2 very awesome roles, both are past 2nd interview, and I'm really feeling like I'm about to take my steps back into the industry again - fingers crossed!

Would anybody be interested in a plugin that converts C++ .cpps for ue5 into BP? Does such a thing exist? I'm proof of concepting something rn

I love Big Walk so much, it's so charming and fun. Like playing in the woods with your friends when you were a kid 🧡

Sex is normal and I don't know why people on the internet are so fucking weird about it. People have it, all the time! We should be able to have it in games too. I don't know when the internet got taken over by puritans. I guess when it got heavily heavily censored and policed.

There should be more sex in games! I wanna see more romances where the characters have sex as part of the story, like BJ Blazkowics and Anya in Wolfenstein The New Order finding a moment of human connection between the bloodshed, instead of sex being cordoned off for prudishness.

2 interviews in and entering a paid art test - let's see if I can join some really cool people on an awesome project --- best part? I get to use one of my favourite tools for Unreal, @fluidninjavfx.bsky.social <3

Hi everyone, today me and 22 others at Double Fine were hit by layoffs today. All the people who lost their jobs today care so much about the games they make and the people they work with. If anyone is looking for a tools SE with 7 years of experience and who brings baked goods on Mondays lmk.

I want more silly loading screens in games I want a black screen with a random object from the game rotating and bouncing around like the DVD logo and I mean ANY object. rigged character? absolutely. low-poly rock that's only supposed to be seen from a distance? throw that shit in there

Its difficult to put my my anger over this into words. The modern Backrooms was born from the collective effort of thousands. That collaboration, all that passion/time was freely given because it made people happy. Now its being monetized. Its exactly like Ai and the internet.

Annihilation shader wip! Not sure how to make the distance field bands not so chunky.

You can now cycle through nearby items! Previously you were only able to interact with whatever was closest! Really happy with how the head (and eye) lookat works with this :)

you don't have to use an extension to do this on Firefox • open settings > search • scroll down to search shortcuts and click add • fill out according to the image below (text in alt text) • click add engine • scroll back up and select "DuckDuckGo No Ai" under "default search engine"

Since Google revealed its plans for an AI search overhaul, visits to our "No AI" search page have tripled…and they’re still rising! Want to make it your default on Chrome or Firefox? Grab our No-AI extensions and banish AI-assisted answers, chat, and AI images. (1/3)

Okay, I hate to do this, but I might need some financial support as my PC has gone kaput at the worst possible moment, right during the run up to the AA Showcase. If any of you are able to help offer support I'd really appreciate it x PayPal.me/LauraKBuzz

I have never owned an M.2 ssd but I just ordered a 2 TB and I'm excited to see the difference, coming from a dying ADATA SU650 that peaks at 100% randomly every hours or two at 2mb/s so I'm really looking forward to that 3500mb/s lifestyle

A traveller’s sword and sheath. It is designed to be worn against the lower back/waist, often underslung beneath a backpack. The sheath also has a small rail slot that allows for the attachment of useful items, in this case a whetstone. #b3d #substancepainter #gamedev #gameart #indiedev
