This is so disappointing from her, she is proving her most ardent detractors correct. The Michigan primary was as nasty as I've seen this year and Stevens still immediately threw her support behind El Sayed, but Crockett is 2 months into her temper tantrum and its tough scenes.

She's really starting to remind me of Anthony Weiner; a backbench Democrat representative who built an aggressive media personality into a national following and then completely fell apart when exposed to scrutiny, due to being an overweening narcissist without any deeper loyalties.

I think it's good and cool, actually, that Anders Folk is running to be the guy in charge of prosecuting ICE agents while taking money from the lawyer defending ICE agents.

A screenshot of Anders Folk's campaign finance report showing a donation from Christopher Madel of Madel P.A.

This is incredibly professional and encouraging. I didnt know much about her as I actively tried to stay out of following this campaign given how fucking horrific our own states primary was here in Maine, but my sense was that neither side was going to behave this way. Good on Stevens here.

I encourage all of us to have the grace and focus shown in this going up within minutes of the race being called.

I love Michigan and am so proud to have put up my hand to serve. I spoke with Abdul a few moments ago to offer him my full support as we work to defeat Mike Rogers this November.

Thank you, Michigan.

Trump knows nobody vandalized the reflecting pool but he keeps harping on it because we've entirely moved on from the fact he gave like $10M to his batman villain looking buddy through a no bid contract to do a shoddy job turning it into an algae pool for duck shit.

Bombshell new report out from my investigators this morning spanning our four year investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s financial records. This report shows exactly how Wall Street protected Epstein and enabled his sex trafficking for decades. Mega thread following with some key points:

Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, BofA Enabled Epstein, Wyden Report Says

Democrat Ron Wyden cited nonpublic documents held by the US Treasury in a report that says banks delayed reporting suspicious financial transactions and calls for tougher anti-money-laundering rules, ...

Not incidentally, sex ed and social media, two of the big things the Think of the Children crowd want to restrict children's access to, are the first place a lot of kids encounter the concept that a person with nominal authority over you doesn't get to touch you without permission

Can't think of a thing that will radicalize a generation faster than "you've gotta let that old man in the corner over there see what's inside those pants before you play Kindergarten volleyball."

🧵 on this post & our recent No Offseason pod segment: I did not realize how this was being interpreted and appreciate the callouts. I am deeply sorry that I came off as centrist, which is FAR from where I stand on the matter. But I won’t be deleting this suggestion. I’ll explain. 1/10

@seeratsohi.bsky.social you did your big one on this Sophie Cunningham breakdown. Incredibly fair, insightful and most importantly, real. Regardless of where you stand, it’s worth a listen. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

I worry that most cynical among us, hopped up on 30 years of law and order rhetoric, will say "this is the system working: he didn't do anything wrong and now he's free." As if the terror and wide-scale publicity of an arrest and federal prosecution is not a horrible punishment in and of itself.

The Justice Department is admitting that a $14 million renovation on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, was flawed, and is dropping the criminal case against a former Olympian that accused him of damaging the pool, according to a new court filing. https://cnn.it/3RJJnwj

AIPAC is bad, it supports a lot of bad candidates, its electioneering is often sketchy. No argument there. It also hasn't been particularly successful in achieving the outcomes it wants, and its transformation into the omni-villain of left-wing politics has obvious, disturbing historic echoes.

Ok so this lady says solar panels are getting built on "the most productive farmland" in her area. Which just ain't true at all. It ain't true here in NC either. Where I ALSO hear that talking point over & over again. Smells like astroturf! So let's get the dirt on solar farms & dirt ✨

I genuinely don't know what to do about this. In our diseased information environment, one MAGA-adjacent "influencer" can do more to shape public opinion than mountains of studies or facts. Where are the pro-clean-energy influencers to counter this shit?
