Sometimes I do some reporting/analytics at work that takes very little of my time and energy and everyone around me suddenly gets enthused about how "incredible" and "comprehensive" my work was, and I start worrying "Did I do this wrong? Should I have spent more time on this?"

I hate that mid budget is disappearing from every form of media, man. Small budget too. Everything is now a hundred million dollars or made by one person on their phone.
Being on Tumblr has done such violence to my vocabulary that I just saw someone mention a "Glock" – as in the brand of handguns – and my brain immediately started trying to puzzle out what kind penis that is.
