I’m convinced the Apple Music algorithm can’t decide if I’m a 20-something hipster barista, a 30-something gay man, a 40-something Midwest dad, a 50-something single woman, or a 60-something college professor, and I’ve never felt more seen.
I know it sucks, but Dems have got to be prepared to inherit a munitions-and-readiness hole that is going to be expensive to fill, but which will need to be filled. Hardly the only such hole, but it will be a big one.

There’s a kind of adolescence one has to go through with story sense where you hate tropes and formulas… and then you get out the other side because you understand storytelling is about communication and those things are tools. With the Internet we had to watch a generation do this collectively…

I think we would be blown away by how few people there are, comparatively. The Roman Empire in Jesus’s time had a population no greater than 60 million people and was like a third of the global population. England in the 1400s was like two million people.

This is insane. The terms of DOJ's slush fund appear to transfer control of $1.8 billion beyond US government entirely. Unless I'm misreading this, that would circumvent Congress *entirely* and put the money outside of *any* constitutional and/or legal constraints ofany kind. Straight up theft.
