Dogs, football, running, history. Not necessarily in that order #STFC

Oh, yeah, you know, all those Somali and Pakistani and Sudanese and Congolese flags you constantly see, everywhere, on every lamppost in fucking Filton? Honestly, these fucking babies. It's just the Highways Act. You can't hang your shitty bedsheets off the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Rob, you twat.

To the flag shaggers, maybe because they're illegal to put up in the first place? Always a crappy narrative they need to lie about 😆

Screenshot showing raise the colours page posting about putting up flags and then being ripped down within 48 hrs

A committed racist, he reached a senior level in his profession and then, protected by a culture which fails to appreciate the human impact of its work outside its own narrow social circle, spent twenty years seeing what he could get away with.

As a teacher with an immunocompromised wife - fuck you! My partner wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for school closures. We were fortunate enough to continue teaching from home. The disrespect to colleagues we lost and the students who were never able to return bc of long Covid - sickening.

No need for anyone to agree with me - but some of the responses to this on here reminds me just how stifling and absolutist a period in our national discourse Covid was.

It’s damn annoying to watch him lie lijr that. Bash pushed back some; but I‘m waiting for „with all due respect, your are either purposefully lying or you’re grossly misinformed. I don’t know which is worse but in both cases you are unfit to serve please STFU and resign right here right now.

Stephen Miller said just the other day that all asylum claims are "fake." A couple deported from the U.S. to Guatemala were gagged, bound, and shot dead. Their 14-month old found crying next to their mother's body. People like Miller don't care though because this is the point: ethnic cleansing.

The couple’s 14-month-old daughter was found crying beside her mother’s body in a sugarcane field last week, according to Guatemalan authorities and media.

As an archaeologist of ancient Greece, I finally saw the Odyssey yesterday All I can say is "Fucking WOW" I could nitpick for hours about the armor and architecture. I could praise with detailed comparanda the jewelry and pottery and a range of interior decoration 1/4

The stories are basically paced perfectly for a couple of hours of drunken arm waving, then "alright I'm fuckin tired, we'll pick it up tomorrow night" and I think we're MURDERING THE AUTHOR by pinning it down to any recorded medium

Spot on. The damage done to this country by the 'lobby' can't be underestimated. Turned journalism into a gossip ridden reality show & done nothing to inform the public. Social media maybe a hive of misinformation but mainstream media has dumb down politics to the point people don't watch.

100% The gang of 4 (Mason, Peston, Rigby & Keunssberg) are now embarrassingly out of the briefing loop. They might now have to do some journalism. Not one of them predicted Healy. It passed them by like the news of suitcases of wine passing through security during lockdown. As if....

The fact that *this* Spain — a team where kids whose parents are from Africa are some of the best in the squad — won in front of Donald Trump is kind of poetic. Spain still has huge problems with racism, but this team reflects a new beautiful reality that deserves to be celebrated.

We're less than a decade away from turning into a third world country. The sort of country where corrupt politicians are bought for £5 million and have all their expenses paid by convicted criminals.
