Add cheese and it's a mornay. But let's not using the French words and just call one a plain white sauce and the other a cheese sauce.

There are four elements to the cartoon. The girls The wife The case The husband. If you divide the picture into four, each element ends up in its own quadrant. Whichever way you do it. It's a pretty good cartoon.
