The vilification of someone who served the American people with compassion & integrity lays bare the viciousness of politics and of this current administration. Tragic to see a leader attacked to score political points. We as Americans must expect better, and continue to #standupforscience

This is a very important read and why we need great reporters. Lots to unpack but overall the lack of transparency/detail shows major issues with how food-borne outbreaks are being address with this administration. Take home for consumers - avoid bagged lettuce, especially iceberg

Many cyclospora outbreak patients didn’t eat at Taco Bell, state health officials say

#Measles update: #CDC reports that another 29 confirmed cases have been detected, bringing the year to date total to 2260 — 29 cases shy of 2025's full year tally. 15 of these cases were imported; the rest were caught in the USA. www.cdc.gov/measles/data...
When people wonder why food safety investigations try to keep information private until the investigation is complete, this is one reason why. Taco Bell did the right thing but it's being penalized for *what its supplier did*. That's not a good incentive to cooperate when future outbreaks occur.
This framing is so disgusting and irresponsible. Yes, Taylor Farms supplies Taco Bell. THEY ALSO SUPPLY TONS OF OTHER RESTAURANTS AND GROCERY STORES. People will take "avoid Taco Bell" as the lesson which is NOT HELPFUL. www.wcvb.com/article/cycl...
