Did you know that the Lancaster County Coroner determined that it was not a measles death without talking to the mother of the baby or medical staff that took care of the baby who died from measles.

It's the same argument they made about COVID - COVID deaths don't count if people had a pre-existing condition. It's an argument that cheapens the lives of those with compromised immune systems or chronic illness. Their deaths don't matter, so vaccination doesn't matter.

My grandparents cared for their special needs child until they died. Then my mom cared for that child, her sister, until mom got too frail. The last 4-5 years of my aunt’s life it was my sisters and I who cared for her (and we are no spring chickens.) Caregiving is generational.

Democratic senators should be calling out all the Republican senators who confirmed this fucking travesty of a HHS secretary. Their tradition of not speaking ill of each other is making people not understand the gravity of this situation.

The argument that Donald Trump invaded Canada today is much more compelling than many realize. The border between Canada and the United States runs through the middle of Lake Ontario. By claiming to have the power to rename the entire lake, Trump is claiming the lake. That's invasion by declaration.
