Timberline Lodge is what Kubrick used for hotel exteriors in THE SHINING. Very cool place to visit, particularly in the winter, so hopefully it stays safe (along with the people and other structures in the area).

FURIOSA (George Miller, 2024) It's funny that I did not like this when I saw it in an IMAX with a raucous crowd. I was feeling hormonal & I was pissed off at everything, including the film. I rewatched it six months later and thought it ruled. Some Sergio Leone shit. ZARDOZ IN THE WASTELAND.
I made a similar joke yesterday, but I guarantee someone at Neon really wants to call this BACKROADS. It's gonna get some comparisons to BACKROOMS, though it premiered over a year ago on the festival circuit, predating the current trends. Cool As fuck vibes driven cosmic horror. Highly recommended.

I just watched the new Supergirl movie, and it’s absolutely amazing. I don’t get where all the hate is coming from, but honestly, anyone who doesn’t like this film is missing out.
