Google just released Lyria 3.5, and it’s a big improvement in every aspect. Here’s a test I made, summarising The Odyssey in the style of late-80s commercial party rap.

I strongly believe that LinkedIn shouldn’t be sending me notifications on a Sunday that someone I worked with eight years ago liked a post by someone I’ve never heard of.

This was one of those impressive AI thresholds for me. I gave GPT-5.6 Sol in Codex control over my computer, and asked it to win the daily challenge for the game Slay the Spire 2 (randomized factors, so can't cheat). Its a complex game. It worked for 5 hours, making complex game choices... and won.

Very impressed with Muse Image. Visual quality and prompt following are excellent (1), it can run code to include graphics (2) and it’s really interesting to see the ‘self-refinement’ checking its own output for best results (3). Even more interesting: self-refinement is an emergent feature (4). #AI

Comparing six of the current best text-to-image models (GPT-Image-2, Reve 2.1, Muse Image, Nano Banana 2, MAI-Image-2.5, and Seedream 5.0 Pro) using the same prompt. Image quality and prompt understanding are more or less on par among the top models now. #AI
