I'm not in the UK, so I can say this: I think JK Rowling is a murderer, she has absolutely been responsible for deaths, probably far more than one, and should be punished accordingly

a lot of the backlash to the “woke 1” discourse fundamentally misses the point that it is at its core a response to the second election of Donald Trump. like, woke 1 *failed*, objectively, indisputably. we have no choice but to dissect it and try to build something better from the ashes.

Noelle dying during the lake scene would be fitting whiplash but I also think it would suck ass more than it would be themes and such also *gestures at how big 7b is supposed to be* I don't see that being a solo Kris adventure, even if Ralsei or Susie somehow show up during it

Not that it’s always the case, but when it rings true I think it comes down to an inability or unwillingness to see themselves as in any way hurtful.

Driving is only reasonably fun when it's a leisurely sunday drive through the country. In other words when you're not doing a trip that represents the vast majority of cases.

Driving is often an unpleasant chore and people dislike doing it; but they cannot admit this to themselves because the implications are too serious.

This lies at the heart of the mythology about our “male socialization.” It’s an unwillingness to see us on our own terms, as having our own unique socialization process and experiences. Even when are not like cis women, that doesn’t mean we must be like cis men.
