The cluelessness of this reminds me a lot of the NFT grift. The thing about NFTs was that it was mainly something finance bros were into, and when they were trying to worm their way into gaming, their pitches were an abyssal trench of bad ideas because they couldn't grasp why people played games.

It is always important to remember that corporations want you to yell at the largely powerless frontline workers, rather than taking complaints to the people who actually make major decisions and who are thus actually responsible for the things that go wrong.

honestly it really can't be overstated how much more you start to enjoy your favourite songs when your primary mode of encountering them is remembering you'd like to listen to them and then doing it, as opposed to hearing the song and remembering you like it
