Maybe because the USA was not arming the Hutu while arresting Tutsi sympathizers? They didn't prevent Tutsi speakers at DNC? Perhaps voters care when there tax dollars go to a foreign government genocide and why its not going tword a M4A, housing, or public-social investment??

Clinton didn't lose any voters over Rwanda and Burundi where the death toll was much higher and the manner of killing was more brutal even if an intervention could have stopped it. It's good to be for peace, but voters care more about what's in it for them, not misdeeds done by foreigners far away.

might be common knowledge, but some people block channels that use AI in thumbnails. youtube has an option to "never recommend this channel again" and i only ever use it when a channel's thumbnails are all AI i hope someone can convey to aspiring youtubers that it'd be good to grow out of this ASAP

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.
