The order rescinds the fund for now, but it may not permanently amend or terminate the underlying settlement that created it.

I’ve seen a lot of health care workers rightfully sharing their memories from 2020, and their anger at how their struggle is minimized. I hope that they understand this feeling of being forgotten is akin to how many high risk patients feel today, when they have to beg health care workers to mask.

The refusal to learn is one thing, but the dismissal of reality is another. Long Covid is too painful, too common & too present in many people’s lives to be denied. The story is hard to rewrite.
