Going from the Brisbane Roar reported $1,052,475 from Rapids for Herrington to the reported $23m+ #Rapids96 will receive from Hull City, that means Pádraig Smith 22x Lucas’ value in 20 matches played for Colorado. ROI.

Obviously a lot of reporting today about the possibility of Lucas Herrington being moved onto Hull City for what could be a massive fee. The Colorado Rapids don't play again until August 15.

Lucas did indeed do media. It was wonderful to see and speak with him, potentially for the last time as a Rapid. For as quickly as these 6 months flew by, it has been apparent every second that Lucas the person, and Lucas the player, is a brightening Star. Honored to cover him. #Rapids96

Rudy Galetti reporting Herrington to Hull for £21.5 mill plus a 15% sell-on. Almost $29 mill plus a sell on clause. Can't see how the Rapids say no. And if he's ever sold on from Hull, he will be the highest net transfer fee in MLS history. Jhon Duran was ~$30 mill all in for Chicago Fire.
#Rapids96 had all the top brass in for the R2 vs St. Louis 2 match June 6th. Can imagine they knew a first team deal was impending and wanted to double check their call on Palmer. FWIW, I believe Pids have a very specific StatDNA profile for forwards in general and 9’s specifically. (1/3)
