The initial American strategy failed, the war with Iran is consuming the region, Iran and Ukraine are risking a face-off, both Russia and China are escalating their military commitments, American munitions are dwindling and Trump is raging. Other than that, everything is fine.

Reminder: Trump doesn't care about the slush fund. He only really cares about himself. The deal was originally to award him billions for the "suffering" he endured while being investigated but when that fell through, his main goal was to get tax immunity. That's the non-negotiable bit for him.

Corporate spending on elections has already topped $500 million this year. That's one third of the $1.58 billion in total that corporations have spent since Citizens United in 2010. Hawaii and Montana both have plans to neutralize this disastrous SCOTUS ruling. Other states must get on board.
