It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.
Thank you. I knew I was pushing myself when I decided to draw a lion battling crocodiles. A lion and a crocodile on the same page, that's one thing. Locked in combat? That was a challenging day at the drawing board.

I’m Not a miniature painter, haven’t done anything like this since college decades ago, but had these lying around, for reasons, it’s fun to experiment with ink washes and dry brushing.

Over the long weekend I experimented with ink washes for the first time. It’s fun stuff.
I just realized I already posted that pic of Mia, so here’s another. Yesterday I watched the original 3 Raimi films with the boy. Tonight was Fede’s remake.
I love Sam Raimi’s original evil dead movies, and I love Fede’s remake and Cronin’s Rise, so I can’t wait for Evil Dead Burn later this week!! This is one of a Procreate series I did at the height of COVID in ‘21, BW studies of people screaming or terrified from horror movies.
Wednesdays if comics publishers had the stones to let anything last long enough to become an interwoven part of the 616’s shared tapestry. I’d add Empyre, but they basically suffocated that beautiful premise in its crib and all but refused to do anything with it but end in an event mini.

#alamodrafthouse had an early screening of #Obsession last night! Awesome movie!!! Fantastic experience. Live stream with director and cast after. Always amazing to see a film with a packed house. Plus excellent free swag!!! Super fun movie. If ya like horror, you’ll love this.
