I don’t know what the long-term consequences will be on Hank Green for admitting to this. He’s apparently been very pro-AI lately, from the bits and pieces I’ve seen. But if you’re in scicomm, carefully consider making AI a part of your workflow. We’re in the trust business.

Trust, I’d argue, is the most important thing we have as scinece communicators. People come to us because they trust that *we* have done the work to figure out what is true and what isn’t and we can explain it to them. Once that trust is broken, it’s really hard to get it back.

Wearing a mask isn’t pleasant, neither is wearing a hard hat. And the reason people have to, not just can, wear hard hats, is so their company can avoid negligence lawsuits. Masking in healthcare should be the same.

Interrupting this apparent Hot Diarrhea Summer to wholeheartedly agree that "regular diarrhea" is not a thing. Diarrhea by definition is either abnormally loose or abnormally frequent stools (or both). Americans stop normalizing diarrhea challenge.
