sorry for going on a lot about LLMs today but i have Thoughts™. that i came up with with my Brain™.

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

AI companies love telling us that generative AI enables "frictionless creation", something that does not exist. you're not creating at that point if you're relying on an LLM to do the "creation" for you. you're not thinking, so you're not creating anything new there is no creation without friction!

thinking about the hank green AI situation has got me really thinking about how one of the worse aspects of LLMs that people don't talk enough about compared to their other bad aspects is they're designed to be addictive. they're designed to make you dependent on them for even basic thinking skills
