The most psychologically interesting strain of the book is his violent antipathy to being a victim. That is hardly unusual among the American right, but it is an interesting and troubling position for a Catholic politician.

Abusive men aren't abusive because of testosterone, because I have a male level of testosterone in my body and I don't do that shit. It made me calmer. Abusive men are abusive because they were taught to be, and rewarded for it. By blaming T, you ignore the actual cause and its actual solutions.

This highlights a profound impact of Trump — the further normalization of violence against women. Trump got elected in spite of his long history of violence against women. He is not held accountable when he continues to abuse women. 1/2

NEW: Democratic women’s caucus is about to call for Max Miller’s resignation: “Due to the growing evidence and clear lack of remorse, we are calling on Rep. Miller to resign immediately,” say Reps. Leger Fernández, Emilia Sykes and Hillary Scholten.

New: Police in Wisconsin used Flock to create a pretext to search a man's car for weed. Their justification? He drove from Wisconsin to Michigan, a “known source state for marijuana as it is legal there,” and Flock showed he "travels to Michigan frequently." www.404media.co/cops-used-fl...
