There's a phenomenon I heard that I found really interesting of called the "missing missing reason" issendai.com/psychology/e... For some estranged parents, they can't comprehend why this happened even though they were told specifically why this happened. I do wonder how many cases fall into this

look, this really isn't complicated. I've talked to SO many people who have had to cut off parents in some way or another, and it literally always boils down to the exact same thing: parents that are unwilling to change behavior in order to keep their child in their life

it does truly need to be seen in motion to be believed. It’s not every day you find yourself sorta blinking and questioning if you didn’t hallucinate what happened.
